The surroundings and the house offer everything you need for a holiday. A restaurant and the nearby Riedelsbach reservoir can also be reached by wheelchair users without a car.
In summer, the reservoir invites you to go swimming and fishing, in winter to curling and ice skating.
Riding opportunities in the immediate vicinity are also available, as are providers of horse-drawn sleigh and wagon rides.
Hiking on the Dreisesselberg, to the Dreiländereck and into the Steinerne Meer or cycling tours to the Czech Republic to the Vltava reservoir or to Austria are a tip for everyone who loves to be active, of course.
Snow fans don't miss out in winter either. A cross-country trail network of about 60 km of machine-groomed trails leads right past Haus Fabelhaft. Larger ski areas, e.g. B. the Hochficht in Austria can be reached by chairlift from Schwarzenberg and is only 5 minutes away by car. Sledding hills for children are in the immediate vicinity of the house.
Excursions such as glassworks, museums, an open-air museum, granite mines and the Bavarian Forest National Park, with the last primeval forest in Europe and the longest treetop path in the world, are easy to reach by car. Day trips to Prague, České Budějovice, Krummau, Salzburg, Linz, Vienna etc. are also offered by local travel companies. Furthermore, the three-river city of Passau (45km) invites you to visit the largest cathedral organ in the world or to take boat trips and just stroll and shop.
